HEUCHERA SPECIALIST CAIRNSMORE NURSERY Heucheras, Heucherellas and Primula auriculas are our nurery’s specialities. We are delighted to present to you a selection of Heucheras and Heucherellas that includes new cultivars direct from Terra Nova Nurseries in Oregon. New for 2009 are: - Heuchera Lime Marmalade, a sport of Marmalade with, you guessed, lime green foliage; if it is as good as its parent it should be the best yellow cultivar to date. Heucherella Sweet Tea has a soft orange-yellow leaf with a dark central blotch. Heuchera Plum Royale has large, shiny, purple leaves with dark veins. Also new this season are a dark Heuchera Blackberry Jam, and Heucherella Tapestry. Heucherella Sweet Tea Heuchera Plum Royale Our nursery is situated outwith Castle Douglas in the unspoilt countryside of Dumfries and Galloway. All our plants are hardy in this area, although some plants are protected from excess wet in unheated polytunnels in winter. For the past 6 years all plants have been grown on the nursery in peat-free compost. We encourage wildlife and have the slugs to prove it!
